My friends ask me about my "domme" self often. Many are surprised to know to know that I do this work at all. Usually I have a smile on my face--a little wild child, an adventurer. All of those things are true, of course. But a few years ago I found that I had within me this sometimes-bitchy, very firm and clear part of my self. I know what I want and I get it, in a nutshell.
I have always sensed my power over people, even as a child. I knew just how to get what I wanted, and I discovered that men, especially, were easy to understand. Flash them a bit of cleavage and they would eat out of my hand. Who do you think it is that pays for my free and adventurous lifestyle?! Men.
In their hearts, I think most men long to be submissive, to give up control to a powerful woman. I just give them the chance to do what they want to do-- to lose control. They give me money, power, freedom, sexual pleasure, whatever I want. Just because I ask. That, I think, is the problem with most women--they never bother to ask for what they want. They think they have to be nice, to be pushovers so that they can be liked. Bullshit. A woman who is in touch with her own power is sexy. It is we who hold the real power; we just have to take it. I do. If you don't like it, tough. Get out of my way.
